You can have one of the best burgers in Seoul here! It’s Triple O’s located near Dosan Park in Apgujung. They have Triple O’s in Hong Kong and I waited and waited for them to open a branch in Korea and ta dah! Now I can have this yummy burger everytime I want in Seoul!

It’s on the first floor of a building named Holim Museum. The Museum is right next to Cinecity building which is the tallest around Apgujung area so it’s pretty easy to find where Triple O’s is.

Triple O’s logo. It’s owned by White Spot which is a Canadian family restaurant. So the ‘formal’ name of Triple O’s is ‘Triple O’s by White Spot. There are no White Spots maybe because in Korea it’s all about Outback Steakhouse. They won’t have a good business anyway.

It’s not like any burger shops where you have to order at the counter. The same Triple O’s in Hong Kong was not like this(In Hong Kong, Triple O’s are usually in food courts).

Broccoli Cream Soup.

The White Spot Club Sandwitch. It’s  chicken club sandwitch with too mush sauce inside. Difficult to eat but tastes good.

BC Burger Platter. If you order bt platter, it comes with coleslaw and french fries. So good that they give you a slice of pickled cucumber which is not sweet. Sweet pickled cucumber is everywhere in Korea.

And the best of best that you shouldn’t miss is a milkshake, especially blueberry milkshake. It’s crazy that they get 6500 won for one which is almost the price of a Whopper meal.

Myongdong Donkatsu is a restaurant which first introduce Donkatsu(Japanese Style Pork Cutlet) to Korea about 25 years ago. When I go to Myongdong for shopping, this restaurant is a place which is on my “Must Go” list. Donkatsu to people around my age is a thing which reminds of childhood. Donkatsu was so expensive around then and rare, so sometimes like on birthdays or graduation days, we would go to have Donkatsu. There are two kinds of Donkatsu. One is Japanese type Donkatsu just like the one they serve in Myongdong Donkatsu. The other one is Western Style Restaurant Donkatsu which is actually Korean style not Western. Unlike the Japanes one this Korean one is thin and wide.

Myongdong Donkatsu’s main door. It’s located in one of the small alley so it’s kind of difficult  to find. I’ll ‘google map’ it to show you how to go at the end of the post

Inside the restaurant you can see the whole process of making Donkatsu.

Tenderloin Donkatsu. They also have Donkatsu Fillet. Crispy on the ouside soft and juicy on the inside. They also serve you cabbage salad with sesame sauce, bowl of rice, Miso soup.

Saewoo Katsu(fried shrimp). Most expensive one of all. I remember it is around 14000 won but worth to try. So yummy!
